Tarsu aimed to honor and uplift a community of Cambodians in Columbus, Ohio, in the form of a cookbook that included stories and traditional recipes from several within the community. The cookbook was sold at a newly constructed local temple during the largest cultural event of the year - the Khmer New Near festival. Print promotion for the cookbook also promoted the temple and festival, bringing together a community for the first time after two years of COVID-19 restrictions, and bringing visibility to the temple and community on a scale never seen before.
The Tarsu campaign garnered enough attention to be featured as the cover story on a local publication, Columbus Messenger.
